Returns and refunds
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Sedum & Sage. This policy explains your rights when buying from us online. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Changing your mind (14-day cancellation)
For most items bought online you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel, email info@sedumandsage.co.uk or call 07985 146655 with your order number.
Items must be returned unused and in their original condition within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. For large timber items we can arrange collection and will tell you the cost before we collect.
We will refund you, including the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the item back. Refunds are made to your original payment method.
Items that can't be returned for a change of mind
- Made-to-order garden buildings and furniture built to your chosen size, roof, finish or other specification. Once we have started building to your specification, the order can't be cancelled for a change of mind.
- Live plants and sedum. Because plants are living and can deteriorate quickly, we can't accept them back for a change of mind once delivered.
Assembly and installation
If you ask us to start assembly or installation within the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel, we may charge for the work already carried out.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If anything arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos, and we will repair, replace or refund it. For plants that arrive damaged or unhealthy, we will replace or refund them. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to everything we sell.
